It'd be silly to replace that 6cyl with a V8 short of a big block. It will out-torque just about any small block short of a 377 or 400 with long rods. Probably a GMH assembled one too. With big Saginaw 4spd, huge mother of a gearbox.
i agree byron..i had an f350 tow truck,old strap type with the big ford 6..i towed another f350 v8 that was towing a zd fairlane for 30k...highly illegal but you didnt even know they were there..
