Picked up a speedo at a swap meet today and as I had a bit of free time thought I would restore it and a HQ GTS speedo I have been wanting to do.

After dis-assembly and cleaning the bush needs to be pressed
back on the mainshaft and adjusted for correct free play
Nice and clean with correct free play
On checking the calibration the magnet was found to be very weak
so needed re-magnetizing.
It is then checked again on the calibrating machine and adjusted
for accuracy.
Case is cleaned
Nicely restored after re-assembly and setting the odometer
back to zero
Novus plastic polish is excellent for removing scratches in the original lense
Both completed with a few I did last week
