Can anyone tell me for sure, how much difference it makes putting the ford extension housing on the T5. Ive read its only about 20 mm forward? Thats probably not going to make much of a difference is it?

Has anyone fitted or seen one fitted to a H model using that extension? Does it still mean the butchering of the floor?

Admittedly though; i think the supra 5 speed behind the 304 is the way to go.... Its already there and I know i comes through the floor in the right spot.

Byron can you enlighten me anymore on what the difficulties are in putting a VS commy tank under a van? I was thinking I could get a mate to weld up a frame which the straps could bolt to, then that frame could be attached to the van? Done properly of course.. Is that the way youd have to go?
