cheers, might have to get me some hq-hj hinges looks like a full bumper would fit better with short hinges, instead of the hinge overlapping the bumper
3/75 H8 built HJ ute. Never been off the vehicle since new (read: this ute was special ordered/purchased new by a member of my family and remains in the family with it being left to me about 11 years ago). Apologies if it says something different to what others are saying but just showing it here for what it is. Certainly not trying to have a go at anyone but there may have been different implementation dates for the hinges at different plants due inventory?
Regards,
Dave.

Nunc est bibendum...
Berri aye? I live near there mate. If you need a hand etc let me know. Or if you have stuff to get rid of etc =)
it is one of the very few i have seen with long hinges but have seen some...most are short as ive wrecked way too many originals in the last 20 years for them to be all longs...as for apoligies there is no need as no one will ever work out 100 per cent what each plant did with what bits.
yep love Berri the blue van in my album towing the boat spent a lot of time at Cobdogla the photo was taken under the blanchtown bridge we always went there because it was so quiet but now i have a shack at younghusband between mannum and bow hill .When i go up to Berri next i will let you know and you can come with me my mate has a hj statesman he is restoring and has a hj parts ute out the back
there are lots of guys in the riverland with hq-hz parts and its a good place because it nice and dry. Blocker let me know what you need i also know where there is a hx kingswood ute and a hq van (with windows ) both being used as parts cars
if you need short hinges blocker i have a few sets..$45 pair delivered to you would have some movement as pretty much all do.
