i used to be with shannons who are ok... did me good when my muralled VR wagon got trashed by a kangaroo. However, for some reason, I struggled with them when trying to insure my 83WB. They kept telling me it's a Belmont. Anywho, they were ok, but, we had a guy from Lumley come and visit a VCV meeting one nite and we discussed insurance with him. I later decided to get them to quote me and it's heaps cheaper for the same cover, the only difference is that rather than insuring for daily driver, it's insured for occasional drive.... so that saves me some $. Fine print is pretty much the same in both policies. I've not had to make a claim (touch wood....), but I haven't heard any negative re their service. I"ve also tried others like AAMI, HBA, RACV etc..... but none would recognise a vehicle that old....the kids on the phone were too young to understand what I was talking about....lol. Good luck.
