    the cool group of course....Rodney used his to tow a ski boat, and sleep in the back instead of a tent...my other friends in Forbes just had vans as daily cruise vehicles...

    When I was quite young around 9 I am guessing, we used to go away camping in our Kombi and alot of the time it meant driving up past the northern beaches as we lived in Ryde in those days, I still remember the vans being nosed in along the beaches, and the girls in their halterneck tops, and very high cork platforms. My father used to make some derogatory comment which I was probably not meant to hear, nor it eventuated, did I obey in the end...
