The.."Surfies"..had the van's of varying types and quality on the NSW coast, north & south of Sydney.
In Sydney's west were the show van's and cruiser's. When I used to ski, I was the only sandman in the group, most of the boat's were towed by car's or wagon's. This was during the 70's.
