It is just how they were done for HQ-HZ. Body was painted and hard trimmed in the Body Assembly Plant. This is where the BODY tag was fitted. Then it was shipped to the Vehicle Assembly Plant where the front subframe (or entire chassis for commercials) complete with engine and box were fitted and front panels painted and fitted. In some cases the VAP was local to the BAP. In other cases like Dandenong vans, Pagewood HJ-HZ vans and all Mosman park assembled vehicles the VAP was in another State.
