Yes Jason there's an efi engine in it , Ido have a full set up off a vk compressor and alt on drivers side also have the power steer pump but not sure yet . Also can cut off and reweld throttle body on more of an angle but not real keen on that , but it has been done by someone on here( sorry can't recall who). I think the kit is everything included but the gas , so that's where the cost is , I was looking at just the unit and control there is a few different sizes and the new ones are all electronic servos ,which I've seen for between $800 & $1000 use my ac brackets and own hoses condenser and r/drier.

Im considering going the same way. I have mates that can gas it. Also can get all the standard gear at trade prices. So im considering buying the unit and fitting it. And maybe the controls also. As like you say on an efi eng its a different setup.... hmm.

don't get me wrong 2.5k isn't too bad though.

That's interesting, the air con setup I had in my sandman had the compressor at the top. That was 36 years ago though..

The old factory air i had in it was up the top as well,just the the these guys do this kit.

Its only the back one that is a dedicated PITA because of the size of the A/C heater box, but a good point!

Finally have a air con that works like a charm,driving around with windows up.

Used the old demister duct just blanked the end off and feed the new ducting hose up each side works a treat.

And yes i did have to modify the glovebox,lost about half of it.
