    Ozbox had a glove box (That he got from me), that had a section cut from the glovebox and another panel fitted. This was to fit an aftermarket A/C evaporator which used the factory outlets. It clipped onto the LHS vent intake and went through the heater box as per normal.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman

    Compressor and alternator mounted, tripple pulley on need to source longer belts as standard ones are to short.
    Have a spare double pulley if anyone is chasing one.

    That's interesting, the air con setup I had in my sandman had the compressor at the top. That was 36 years ago though..

    Looks a good setup wondering if my efi throttle body would clear the alternator as it doesn't clear an original compressor.

    We put vintage air in our HQ and had to sacrifice the glove box,we also mounted the alt on the right using a VB V8 commodore bracket but we don't have power steering,the factory unit are for purists only..... Try changing the spark plugs on the left bank with factory air! Our HQ firewall just looks like a HQ without aircond,the only thing that gives it away is the compressor

    Its only the back one that is a dedicated PITA because of the size of the A/C heater box, but a good point!
