Went and got some batteries for my torch before ,its pretty dark in shed..the numbers are tiny no wonder i could not read them without torch. They read 92001123 im fairly sure, its a bit worn,iwill try and find a magnifying glass somewhere ..i am in denial that i need glasses,thanks peter..
XU3 you have Peter...which is sandman...so you should be fairly happy with that, and whatever you do try and preserve that Tyre placard or a picture of it, as it is a important part of your identification for a sandman. This van was about 40 minutes away .a neighbour saw mine and told me a friend had one ,so i got his phone no. And gave him a call..he told me he had bought it new and had looked after it so i went and had a look thinking this will be a rusted out shitheap and why am i wasting my time going all this way ..it turned out to be a lot better than i had hoped ,orignal paint work ,only rust is behind right hand wheel down the bottom sills are perfect and theres a bit about the size of a five cent piece on the passenger scuttle at the bottom of windscreen..it has gts dash and wheels power steer retrimmed seats and on gas and the v8 motor runs like a dream..i couldnt beleive my luck..chamois color paint is a bit dry and milky looking so i will give it a cut and polish and a good detail tomorrow,just need some sandman stickers ,if you know where i can get some that would finish it of fantastic..i did see some on ebay a while ago but cant find any now,even if i only get the tailgate one i will be happy thanks peter..

I can put some pics of my vans up tomorrow if i can get someone tells me how..main thing i am after is the sandman stickers if someone still makes them..is there a parts for sale and wanted section on this website as i am only a virgin and not sure how to use all the features on here,cheers peter..

She also replied to your question above your last post about stickers (Decals). You can post in the Forum section called Stickthis Decals in the Supporter Section and you will get a reply on availability and cost of decals. There maybe a bit of a backlog on your order but Stickthis can explain further.
Finally there is heaps on this forum, so take your time getting used to it - it can be difficult for first timers not familiar with how forums work but you'll get the help you need if you ask and will probably run into ozbox sooner or later.
Thanks for your help ,i thought she meant to stickthis request for decals on the forum..so stickthis is the name of the bloke who makes stickers,catchy name..my nickname actually is benny a name that has stuck with me since school having the last name hill, will try and work out how to cotact him now ,thanks again peter...(or benny) your choice..
If you ever get lost in the forums, just scroll to the top and click on the photo of the Van and it will take you back to the front index of the forums. From there you can find your way around different sections.
Also there is a neat search tool (top right hand side) type in what you want and the forum gremlins will find it for you.
