    i read somewhere in a holden service manual that they should be tight enough to only allow two complete turns when the wheel is forceably spun by hand.


    i have found bicycle tyre removers the best tool for adjusting the brake shoe tension with the drum on.

    did you remember to put the "NAIL" back in??? - you know what i mean, the bit that holds the liners parallel?
