I thought the front end sheet metal was fitted after the drivetrain at Pagewood. What happened to the front section of stripes for HX/Z's ... under the visor?

That was going to be my next question should I be wrong on the last. Seems odd to have the stripes on the body without front sheetmetal fitted. What were the body's mounted on when on the train? Sounds like we need to find some old trainspotter/ amateur photographer who lived next to the main line in the 70's and has pictures of every load going by.
