In the mid 80's I took my girl friend for a weekend to Ivanhoe western nsw for a week end for a party and to meet some of my cousins .in those days when I travelled out west I had a Dwyer 4 post bar that only took about 20 min to remove the bumper bar and install, which is good that I did because on that trip I think we only hit 1 big red.anyway after lunch on sunday we said our good buys and headed home at our normal reasonable rate of knots, after 50 minutes of driving along dirt roads three wheels appeared in the top of our windscreen which turned into a plane .the initial reaction was to panic and apply the brakes the second reaction was to get the UHF and offer him some pg13 advise .It did turn out to be a funny thing he got us good because dirt road didn't hear him ,van limited rear view so didn't see him but on the reverse side we were traveling at a fare rate so it took him a couple of short cuts and 50 minutes to catch us.at the time it did feel like the plane was going to end up in the van with us.it's one of those stories that get relived over a beer ever 10 years or so .
