    Piston id

    Pulled down my black 308 today and found part # on pistons 92027339 can any one translate what this means

    That is a GMH part number. Probably for a VL 5.0L piston, possibly late VK. The number isn't in the 1985 VB-VK book.

    Original engine number got butchered before i bought it, when i took it through regency park they issued me with a new number
