I wouldn't put the clunky Ford piece of junk into a Holden, unless you are going to go doing burnouts or drag racing, or you have a 300+ hp engine. Aussie 4spds are cheap and easy to rebuild and will last for a long time in a properly driven HJ. Toploaders are alien to the car, you have to do some butchering to the tunnel to make it fit and uni joints, clutch plates etc are all non-standard. Toploaders are strong boxes though, not as good as a Muncie or Super T10, but worth keeping in case you ever want to run a stroked 308 (350, 377 etc) and want to keep a manual.
