I've wondered this to! Anybody?
off white kind grey ish i tool one of my rear covers in and they colour matched it, i do have a tin of it hear i just used a sponge roller and repainted the rear very factory looking, and no over spray tin is a litre and almost full
--- Updated ---
how good was that spelling time for another drink i think
It's called "grey vynacote" and the formula number is 3H012, although I tried all the paint shops in Canberra and no one could mix it. It's off white semi gloss acrylic.

Hey thanks now my nex question is, Was the oil pump on the 308 black or painted rocket red the same as the motor, thanks
Did the Sandman ute also get the "grey vynacote" treatment?
The old formula is here http://gallery.oldholden.com/Mr_Jone...geViewsIndex=1 if you need to know the tinters let me know
note at the bottom says utes and vans
I see it says both utes and vans, but when I was flicking through these just before and the "as original" ute at ecthuca museum isn't grey vynacote? So was this purely an option?

Photos are not the best representation of a colour code, so I never judge a colour unless 'in the flesh'.
The white balance in a camera are not 100%, as an example take a photo of a piece of colour paper inside your house and then outside. The exposure will change and so will the white balance, making the colour look different in each photo.
