Excuses - What did you use?

What excuse/reason did you give your 'other half' to justify the purchase of your last toy?

I bought a drum prac pad, saying I needed something portable. I've got 4 drum kits and this thing has been in the cupboard for a couple months!

I don't need to give my other half excuses, she just accepts it.

Looks like you might have to make those 'permission slips' disappear Blocker

I don't have to ask permission, never have.

Seems to me people do not read... do you have excuses for buying stuff you don't really need?

Saves me whitling the money away on little crap where I'll never see it again. At least if it goes into a car, motorbike, or parts I can sell it later when I need cash, or swap it for something I do need.

Some may argue that I don't NEED all 7 main bodystyles of HQ-WB (sedan, wagon, utility, panelvan, tonner, LWB sedan, coupe) but I always wanted to do it and it was a good goal to have. Now I just need to build a shed big enough to fit all at once.

I buy presents for my wife instead of Toys for myself like generators, air compressors, containers ,engel fridges, welders, air rear suspension for 4x4, all sorts of camping equipment, remote controlled helicopters and tools. It only get difficult when someone that wife doesn't particully like, wants to borrow said item, but I go ahead and live though these small traffic bumps in life

Can't see any arguments with that at all ... in fact I'd be making a point that 7 body styles aren't enough, chassis mods such as overlander, crewman style & 6 wheelers should be included as well .
