Excuses - What did you use?

What excuse/reason did you give your 'other half' to justify the purchase of your last toy?

I bought a drum prac pad, saying I needed something portable. I've got 4 drum kits and this thing has been in the cupboard for a couple months!

Yeah my missus buys what she wants and I buy my toys as well never a problem and thats the way it should be I reckon.

Seems to me people do not read... do you have excuses for buying stuff you don't really need?

I try not to buy things I don't need! I HATE crap and clutter!!!!

my excuse is that I will get my money back if I sell it later for Ebay car stuff.

For other stuff I don't even kid myself I just say it's because I want it.

do you have excuses for buying stuff you don't really need?

Saves me whitling the money away on little crap where I'll never see it again. At least if it goes into a car, motorbike, or parts I can sell it later when I need cash, or swap it for something I do need.

Some may argue that I don't NEED all 7 main bodystyles of HQ-WB (sedan, wagon, utility, panelvan, tonner, LWB sedan, coupe) but I always wanted to do it and it was a good goal to have. Now I just need to build a shed big enough to fit all at once.
