    hard to find in any original state ,blocker ,please lat me know if ya can, what happens to this nice ute

    It is an XX7, most are. XU3's are very scarce.

    Nice colour. Hopefully someone gets it who will want it as much as the origional owner did.

    I have always thought there would be far more utes out there to be found than vans... the old b&s boys would of shoved their old ute in the back of a shed. Farms have the space to keep things surburbia doesn't. Lots of vans rusted away near the coast or were stripped for utes.

    Good on the lucky buyer. It even has an original locking GM petrol cap.

    Without having seen the plates, it looks like a 1st series HJ to me which would be very early use of the papaya colour. I always thought the papaya colour was released for LX torana (March 76) so just caught the end of HJ run, as Byron said, any HJ rare in this colour. Love it.

    There are vehicles of all types still out there @ tup39. People keep them for various reason's...love of the vehicle..family reason's, such as inheritance. Other's will never be sold or displayed, but are just used for the owner's enjoyment..pleasure.

    Makes sense re the colour. The only thing that made me think it was an early HJ was the absense of the 2 middle vents in the dash?
