    A guy I went to tech with gave his GT a wash and brought it around to our place to take our daugther for a ride in for her 21st birthday . He has own it from new 1owner XY GT the only thing that is not oringinal as purchased is the paint repairs.

    I'm sorry but i can't get my head around liking these ones.
    I can appreciate that it's a 1 owner original but they do nothing for me.
    On the other hand if it was a XA - XC Coupe THAT is a different story.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman

    Pity about the modern numberplates. Would look even better with a set of originals on it.

    It is what it is.

    So much nicer than my GT, well done for his commitment and passion.

    They were a tough looking car. Unique looking to Australia as well, which is cool.
    Its also a shame that younger generations don't see how plain the standard cars were compared to the GT's.
    Been well loved by the looks of it.
    Not bad for a F rod.

    Yep the way I remember it he turned a corner at about 40 put his foot down changed a couple of gears and we were doing just above the speed limit at 120

    Foot note please note speedos were in mph in 71-72

    Note the 5 cent coins in the steering wheel holes he said that this was the first thing you did with change
