Just spoke to Hum,
He seems to think it was a Forestry SA car. His grandfather bought it from auction in 1985 to be his retirement car for running about town.
Rust now removed from the passanger side of the ute. Plated in some steel (talk about being out of practice at the welding) followed by body filler. Given it's already full of filler I really don't feel bad adding to issue, I'd feel much worse if it was parked up in a corner as something I'd get to "one day". Drivers side tomorrow.
Also can confirm it's a Feb 80 car. I don't know about using it for a rebody, I think it's designed for cruising listening to the no radio.
Goat.
image.jpgimage.jpgi think they mean as it has no side strips or other Kingswood gear on it and could make a sandy replica from it , I have a 01-80 hz also from ad it's about 3000 before yours also have an earlier hz base model ,same dash as yours and not much else! But I wanted to make a replica Hx sandy with it got all the gear and no need to find Gts guards, has a few rust issues and a couple of dents rear 1/4 on body line but will try to resurect it.
