the grey patch is the number stamped where i sanded to find it

this is a bit clearer of the number, i think there may be a few different numbers but a genuine has nothing there at all, only metal
and for anybody interested i took a photo of a set of tiawanese guards too while i was in the shed, the stamp is at the top of the guard about the middle, in the groove that the bonnet closes over
