Completely agree with hk1837......another downside to LPG is when you run out of gas, you will need a tow.....no Jerry can top up. Go the injected route and you can also change the chip to get better performance too

Not only that, you can build yourself up an 11:1 308 out of an EFI engine, run all the injection of a VN-VR and double stack the ROM on the Memcal to have 2 x programs in it, which you cn flick between with a dash mounted switch. One would be set with optimal spark for 98 octane fuel. The other setup optimal for LPG or E85 or whatever else you want to run.

We had duel fuel on the yellow van when we bought her, but we got rid of it and fixed the gas fill hole while under resto, and put the cross member back in where it had been butchered to put in the gas tank, and put the spare back under. When we built the new motor we made sure it could take unleaded, or ethanol fuel. The Red van is still on petrol so will remain so, but the ute is on gas, which we will leave as it runs well, we can put the spare in the back of the ute, and has had the motor set up with gas which actually looks good without that ugly air cleaner. 10 years ago we had an F150 which we converted to run on Gas and fuel, it ran very well and saved us a lot of money in fuel. It really depends if you want to be economical, or original. In the new van we have just picked up, as it doesn't come with a motor we may put in an injected motor, its all optional.

That sounds like a fantastic setup!!! I'll keep that in mind for a future project
