Hi does anyone know what type of radio they had originally and any pictures would be great and which other models can they be sourced from?? thanks

Nice clean dash frame too, mine was pretty old, marked and hacked for a modern stereo unit. I picked up a pristine one recently.

This is one that I replaced. Mine too was cut for a modern stereo, got this out of a friends paddock dwelling hz kingswood.

Mine was already cut too ... so am happy with a modern MP3 player in the hole.

Rares repro dash facias.
Hmmm they are not so great. See all the indents. From the moulding/welding where it has pulled. Like where the switch for demisters goes etc etc. Genuine ones dont have that. Its even shrunk/pulled in other strange spots. I got one a while back and sent it straight back. I am told they have fixed the issue. But when I brought another one it was the same. It seems they have to get rid of all the "falty" stock before we see any good ones.

There is a few others I have been talking to about getting them reproed. I think i might look into it a little futher see if we cant get some good looking ones done. Might even do the earlier model ones too. hmmm........

thanks for the letting me know stickthis as I was going to order one this week through RS as I thought if I bought an original it would probably crack in all the same spots as it is 30 years old. keep us posted if you do decide to get repro's made might have to bodge the one I got for now

ive sold quite a few of the rares fascias as pictured and that one in the pic is particularly bad...maybe its the flash showing up the faults...

i have a new old stock one with the rts badge on it and the chrome edge and it still has the switch faults but not as bad as some ive seen...

i have sent some back because they are crook as..
