I don't think GMH intended the 'Sandman' to be a muscle car. If you walked into a showroom in the 1970's and asked to look at a muscle car made by Holden, the dealer would have probaly shown you a SLR5000 or a Monaro. That's not to say though given it's specs and overall look that you can't class it as one. I think it comes down to personal opinion. I personaly do class the 'Sandman' as a muscle car. Sure muscle is all about high performance big engines, but a Sandman with a 253ci V8 pushing 130 (LC) -138 (HC) kW; who can argue... The sandman is tough on the inside and out! Definately an evil aura as wbute states! ;D
