    HZ Van.

Guy's can you help with this one.

    MODEL HZ8WM70
    BODY No. 414813-A
    TRIM 1938-19V
    PAINT 568-30519

    ENG L31 TRANS M21 RRAXLE GV4

    HOLDEN HZ PANEL VAN

    05/78 BHZ80849A

    GVW 2200KG SEATING CAP 2.

    8M7OTHL414813Z

    The plaque number is 9946869.

I can see the plaque number is incorrect, interesting though.

What is 19V trim? i didn't see it in the HZ trim range section.

It isn't an XU3 Sandman, if it was it'd have 18V trim. 19V is Black. 18V is Slate Black. It is most likely a BO6 with that driveline. Does it have sports dash and Premier nose?

Note also, TRIM line should be 1928-19V.

Chassis number is nowhere near correct for the BODY number and 5/78 build date. Should probably be BHZ20549A.

    Ah, yep your right.
Trim line is 1928 and other number is 20849A.
The car is tucked into a poorly lit shed and i had to take pics of the comp plates as i couldn't really read them.
Even the pic's are difficult to see.

Are you sure it is an 8?

Most likely a BO6 with Quad nose and sports dash. You don't see too many manual ones, although I knew of a 253 4spd BO6 tonner.

Looks like an 8, seating cap is very difficult to make out in this pic.

I'll meet you half ay way with a 6, but doesn't look like a 5.
Mind you this is coming from the bloke that has messed it up twice so far.

HK1837 has a database of Sandman info with all the dates and body numbers so he can usually tell approximately what a number should be by the sequence. Hence, his existing knowledge tells him it's most likely a 5.

^^Correct. I could still be a 6, possibly an 8 but it is out of whack a fair bit to be an 8.

BO6 is the option code for an Ambulance pack in HJ-HZ. Available on vans and tonners. No real difference to XU3 being the Sandman option code (or XX7). It is just a code for a special vehicle package.
