What indicates the offset then? Is there a part no/code for the Torana ones...

Just looking at them will show you whether they are Torana or not. L34 rims have no stamping on the rim near the valve hole as GMH built them in house. A9X rims have the 14x6JJ stamping on them as ROH built them.
