I'm from; Millthorpe, but originally hail from Grenfell/ Forbes country.
I found mySandman.com; from Rod and Absinthe at the Holden Nats, discussing what tricks were involved in identifying HQs as Sandmans.
For a living; Ecologist, Environmental Consultant
The best film I've ever seen; ever?.. Mmm that's tricky. I remember when Star Wars came to the drive in... I thought that was the best thing I had ever seen, but looking through the collection now it's a toss up between MadMax (not Thunderdome), early Aussie stuff like Stone, Yellow FJ, Fringe Dwellers, and I've got Matrix, Into the Wild and Lord of the Rings that get rewatched occasionally.
I'm currently listening to; Gotye, Not Drowning Waving, and Gorillaz (till I put another selection in the van).
The thing I would like most to do, right now; head out into the bush, away from it all with good company, good campsite and a deep, clear, cool swimming hole close by.
Something I'm really proud of is; My place, my lifestyle, .... Lucky to be in a great country!

For a living I'm: Semi-retired (medically) but still work part-time with friends.
The best film I've ever seen is: It was the TV series "Band of Brothers".
I'm currently listening to: A huge rain storm coming down the coast from Qld. And the Ipod.
The thing I'd like most to do, right now, that I haven't done is: Take Taily fishing up at Exmouth for a week and see what we can catch. Then start on my replica HJ Sandman project. Could be Berry Nice!
Something I'm really proud of is: Being the godfather to his little man.

I found mySandman.com.au: I think it was from hanging out on fastlane. (which i think has suffered a bit now as lots of these threads would once have happened there..) But great for this site!!
For a living I'm: A paramedic. And still do some ocassional part time work in the theatre.
The best film I've ever seen is: Theres so many... Dont even know where to start. But some awesome series Ive been watching recently have been Breaking bad, Sons of anarchy and Boardwalk empire.
I'm currently listening to: Always eighties metal! Never get sick of it! Plus oz rock, newer triple J stuff, alternative country like Whiskytown, 70s rock, 80s pop when the mrs is around, and Ive been revisiting some of my favourite more recent metal albums like Baroness: The Blue album, 3 Inches of Blood: Advance and vanquish, Opeth: Blackwater park. Then I always have a soft spot for Neil Young (Harvest and Live Rust always on rotation), and Loudon wainwright III...
The thing I'd like most to do, right now, Is not be at work on such a nice sunny day. Would really like to take the sandman down the beach with my 5 year old daughter and camp with no plans. Show her that old cars are fun (long as theyre not overheating...)
Something I'm really proud of is: How great my life has been thus far, and my awesome Partner and our 2 spunky kids. Oh and the fact that i did the full EFI converson on my commodore by myself. (with the brilliant help of people like Commodorenut, Byron and Dr Terry of course)
