It will always be a WB panel van, can never be a HQ Sandman! You can make it look like a HQ Sandman but it will always be a WB van.

Hi Bondan, do it to replicate the model you like best, whilst it will always be a wb by identity, what you make of it is your choice. In Australia a replica hq sandman would probably be worth more than a restored wb and be more desirable.

Hi Bondan. Welcome.

I too have a WB van that doesn't qualify as a Sandman, but it's still a great van. Since yours already has a HQ front, I'd leave it that way and paint it the colour you like, in effect, build a replica Sandman. You'll enjoy it just as much whatever you do, so do what you like.
