    Techno gadgets

Hey what's your latest or favourite technical gadget you have (I know what Gaddy is gonna say). I jut bought a new Logitech Harmony remote for the studio room.

It's a pain in the ass to program but now that it is working, all the other remotes are in the drawers.

At the moment im loving my Axon midi guitar processor....check out the link.

Said to be the fastest guitar converter on the market......and they are getting hard to find too!! Basically allows me to play any instrument on my guitar.....harp,piano,drums,brass,strings or any combination i want. Doing two handed tapping....eg....i can do a piano walking bass line with my left hand on 3 dedicated strings and on the other 3 strings i can play a drum beat or a harp melody.......the options are huge!!! Can even store sound effects or samples and call them up at any time!!! Its a wonderful piece of gear for the guitarist/bass player that wants to be a one man band. Now combine this unit with a loop pedal and realistically, i could create anything......the only thing that stops you is your imagination.
Its not a cheap exercise but the results are worth it.

Haha!! The guitar i use has a piezo bridge which sends the signal via a 13 pin cable to the axon unit.....the unit then converts it to whichever instrument you choose. The problem most midi converters have is it takes a while for it to keep up with what your playing......the axon unit has an extremely fast conversion rate where it keeps up at almost a real time pace...no delay in what your playing. Units made by Boss and Alesis all have latency issues and are limited in sound quality.....the axon is leaps and bounds ahead in his respect.
    Does that make sense Maz?
This might explain it a little better...there are 10 videos to see what the axon is capable of!!! Enjoy
