been fiddling with my gts gauges trying to make the best set possible, found out theres noticable difference between yellow and white needle, mainly the quad gauge, anyway my yellow needle trip meter wont reset, looked in the parts manual and it hasnt helped, doesnt matter how hard i push, any tips, or just have to deal with it???

You would probably need to open it up and look inside it sounds stuck or meshed together may need some innox or crc to loosen it up a bit...

It will be a problem related to re-setting the trip meter while the car was moving. Thats what stuffs them. New England Instruments in Tamworth will fix it for you.
Most speedos with the mechanical trip meter suffer the same problem.
mmm, how much do you think that will cost, dad got it to reset once, ive had it all out of the housing but neither of us can see whats happening, well not happening i should say
You would have to ring them. They might tell you what the problem is over the phone maybe? They fixed my tacho when i first got my WB. Had a dogy solder joint and it was about $80 12 years ago.......
Absinth was fixing speedos a while ago. He rebuilt my HX one and did a fantastic job. He doesn't post much anymore on here though. My be worth dropping him a PM.

yeah ive tried absinth twice, once when i first joined and one just the other week about dash fascias and had no reply to either, ill see if i can find another speedo first, know a bloke that will have one, whether i can get a price out of him will be another question
