Had to rat an old kingswood donor facia for the cig lighter/radio area (which I had to build up to the right height) and I triedmy hand at plastic welding it into position with a soldering iron. I used plastic bumper bar primer as the paint as it adheses well and is almost perfect colour/sheen match for the original black. While I was there I repaired the two top corners where they'd cracked the top 5mm off them by carefullycutting repair sections from the doror dash and welding them in place.

Pretty happy with the result, that much I don't really want to list it (the whole refurbed dash and gauges) on ebay.... Hmmm.... Dilemma....

Hahahaha, lol... It is good to fix the original stuff... I just think that the original stuff is of a higher quality and I want the best stuff for my car..

Yeah, it doesn't cost too much at all.. Being the car enthusiasts that we are, most of us would have what is needed to do it sitting in the shed..
    Cheers,
    Matt
