If you cant find some locally the old headlining is in the boot of my project coupe and pretty sure there aren't any bows missing. Will happily post them to you and you can send them back with some stickers or mask kits.

Sounds good mate! I can get a courier to pick them up so it will be at no cost to you.

Drop me an email when you have them ready to pick up. I need all bows and the wire strips too. if there is any?

let me know in the email what model you want stickers to suit and I will be happy to help with some.

    Cheers
    Jason

No worries. will grab them when I go to the farm.

Have you got a vinyl cutting machine as well? My sister always wanted a purple SS ute and when the time came for her to get a company car her boss managed to get an absolute steal on a fully loaded VE SSV with bugger all km's. Only problem was it was white, but when you're getting a VE instead of a VY then you're not going to be fussy with colour. I was thinking a set of HZ style Sandman stripes in purple to suit the VE shape would look pretty cool on the white, better than the "track pack" stickers over the bonnet and roof. Have you ever measured up or done a pattern for the VE?

^^hehe, white being a problem. When I got the insurance replacement Hilux I went to trade it straight away on a VE SSV and one of the reasons I didn't was they couldn't get me a white one for the price I wanted to deal on! Could have had most other colours but not white!

"Problem" probably isn't the right word. The guy that owned it got it on a whim as his toy and then realised 2 months later it wasn't really something he needed. He'd optioned the hell out of it too. Clubsport wheels, full leather, optional steering wheel and gearstick, replaced all the struts and springs with hieght adjustable gear, hardcover, reverse sensors. About the only thing it didn't have was the genuine Sat nav. Was talking to her boss today about it. She saw the receipt from new and the number at the bottom was $71,000. Lotta coin for a work truck.

Never looked at the stripes fitting to a VE. I know a few who have looked at fitting to VZ etc. But not sure if it ever worked......

Cheers! Let me know when you have them mate I will organize them to be couriered etc.!

Picked them up yesterday. There was one missing though. The centre one had been replaced with a piece of wire. Still enough for you to use do you think? Should be able to average out the length of the middle one based on the others? They all have different coloured paint on one end too. I take it this was a code to tell which went where? Found the same thing on a set of HQ statesman ones too.
