Awesome cruising song!!!
Interesting story with this song - Merry Clayton who sang backup suffered a miscarriage after the recording session.
She was belting it out so much it was a very sad end to the making of this song.
There is a part 2/3rd of the way through where you can hear Mick exclaim "whoo' or 'yea' when she hits a massive high note.
Sorry... I love music trivia.
Wow, I didn't know that about her or the song, but thank you for the trip back into many of the images of Vietnam and protests etc that were kicking around in my early childhood in the early 70s. Twas a welcome flashback - brought a nostaligic smile.
Nunc est bibendum...
Wont look at that song the same way now....very sad ending.
The Stones are awesome.....they have a timeless quality and style. As much as I love my extreme music, these guys just rock. Sadly, ive never seen them live. And if Keith can fall out of a coconut tree and still belt out the tunes, he has my respect![]()
Cant help but respect a person that can play a bass line...a melody, guitar solo and vocal lines at the same time. Wonderful rendition

Thats fantastic, what about this version! How good is this! For those who enjoy the heavier (and prettier) things in life
Another from Meytal Cohen. Something about metal chicks!
