Phil is one of the best frontmen in metal. Pity the heroin screwed him up at the end of Pantera.

This is an interesting view of what a junkie goes through...pretty full on.

Painkiller! Classic return to form by Judas Priest.

Was listening to a bit of old school thrash today. Had forgotten how much I loved this song!

Ahhh Anthrax.....my first concert as a wee 14yr old at Melbourne Entertainment Centre on their Persistence of Time Tour...great memories...although Scott Ian with his freshly shaved head threw me a bit LOL

Great crowd that night...broke the barrier at the front...Anthrax stopped playing and were helping people up.....was very cool!!!

Ive already worn out the new Megadeth album Super Collider.....much better release than '13'...that was bad ...even for them. But Super Collider has some damn good tracks on it.
Have a listen to one of the better tracks

Nice to see Mustaine still pissed off at the government ...probably all hes pissed off about these days
Even has David Draiman (Disturbed) adding some vocals...very cool!!!

Nightwish .... never really appreciated what a synth and a symphony can do until I heard these guys. Its dark, theatrical, cinematic and rather crazy at times. Be prepared for your average speakers not being able to deliver the full spectrum of instruments used in this band. Its on a huge scale this music.....likely not everyones cup of tea but it definitely delivers a punch that a standard band couldnt come close to. No doubt every other band is envious of these guys with the scale of production.... enjoy!
