Driver's rside extractors problem...

no difference in manual to auto, however, some of the extractors on the T400 lower bellhousing bolts, the T400 housing has a little ear casting on the side that hits on some brands of extractors.

maybe make sure they are for HQ-WB first. not commodore or torana or HKTG, as these are all different. Some brands of HQ-WB fit in torana and vice versa if you are lucky....


failing that, take your rat trap off and re-install later...only 2 bolts.

They were sold as HQ-WB but is there a way to tell by looking at them.
Like I said they look like they'll go on because the pipe that looks like it should hit curves in towards the block like it's done that way to miss the rat / cat trap.
Do you agree with Rodney about jacking the engine up on that side?
