New to this website & just wondering if anyone can give me any info on the Sundowner XC panelvans.I purchased a 1978 sundowner JG47,302, 4 speed,gs options, rally pack tag, matching numbers, tailgate, model code 45684.other than that I dont know much about them but hear they're quite rare.Does anyone have more info on them
i have one but dont know much more than you. i am told the 351 option gave it rear disc brakes.i would be keen to know anything you find out.
van nationals are on this weekend so i will be asking a lot of questions, will post any info
i wonder how many are left. take out the stolen/insurance jobs, accident write offs, used as donors, roofs cut off to be made to utes, and the biggest killer of them all, rust
would guess under 50, maybe less than 10 on the road
Try emailing to this guy, jamesthevanner@bigpond.com.au as he collects them and knows his sundowners inside & out.
