Ok theres been way too much discussion on here about sundowners, but heres my contribution....

This one lives literally less than 100 metres from me in Ballarat. Its always been a ballarat car and has the same owner for the last 16 years. 141k on the clock.... Original colour, column auto, and original 4.1 6 cylinder engine. Comp plates are caked with crap. The only number I could make out was 45683 and I think maybe the engine thing said N..?

Apparently a genuine sundowner. It is sort of for sale but the bloke is still using it. he reckons he'll sell it before winter this year. He wont want much for it.

Thing is though, its very rusty. Very very rusty... Inside and out. You can see daylight through the floor pans. Itd be a herculean efffort to get it back on the road once the rego runs out. If these things actually reached high speed youd be in danger of the roof peeling off. To prove fords and holdens really are opposites, the only panel not rusty was the tailgate!
