It is the correct HZ grill but should be painted black.... does have a HX console in it. Almost all the restored Sandmans I have seen have incorrect parts on them but considering the lack of information that has been out there most of the owners have done a pretty good job.

It is also made harder by the fact that a lot of Sandman vans were mild to extensively modified and changed within weeks of being bought new due to the van craze and owners wanting to express their individuality.
