Is that how the car looks today? It would be a great car to put on the jacket of the Sandman book. I don't think I have seen a nicer representation of a Sandman.

Must of been an early one... vents and clear indicators.

Would any of them in '74 have had clear indicators, I thought by then they had gone to orange.

Are these old pictures or one that you have seen recently? Would be nice to get some shots of the interiour.

They were definitly the best looking of them... mighty HQ... but then Im biased. :-)

Vents are most of them, only last few months didn't have them. All 1974 HQ's had amber blinkers.

Anyone considered "Brooklands Blue" as an option. The rear of the van looks that colour, the front is a different shade all together. Either way, cool colour!

Azure Blue 1876/1391 15826 is the only option.

Mine is Cognac Metallic..... when I paint that I'm sure I'm not going to park next to too many HQ vans in that colour.haha At least it isnt Covert or Willow... then it would definitly look like a delivery truck.

My internet is down at the moment so I have stopped looking. Will have another look when it is back up.

I remember over a year ago I saw a legit HQ Sandman ute for sale on ebay and had the exact same colour. So if Azure blue wasnt available it has to be another looo alike colour.
