Booked the trailer so I can go pick it up..... thats a start i suppose
Sandblasting rims tomorrow.
Nah, I'm just driving around looking for someone with licence.
still squirrelling bits n pieces ready for commencement of resto work...as well as setting up my shed so that I can be well organised and efficient. Aztec trim is proving to be a hard case to find some one to re-pro or find some good seats with it. I have uncovered hen's teeth and rocking horse poo during that quest though.....
For my panelvan, I am currently stripping down and cleaning the shell. But unfortunately it has the two side windows. I am doing this so that I can remove it off the chassis. Then I plan to clean and rebuild the chassis before attacking the body work. This is going to be a long term project.
When I purchased my van, the previous owner had stripped of all the seats, dash, console back in the days and put them into a ute. Hence, I have to collect these parts through time plus other bits and pieces that were not with it.
I have since purchased two more panelvans for parts. Again both unfortunately have side windows.
Put a working fuel pump in mine the other day and it moved under it's own power for the first time in about 10 years. Did a bit of parts collecting at the farm the other day for all those little missing details. Might even have it on the road soon at this rate.
it would be nice if someone would just say i have been driving mine....... but it appears most vans and utes are off the road awaiting resto
Drove mine to the shop this morning to get a paper cause I can![]()
took mine to golf today then a bit of a cruise around the hills
No sandblasting...too confused trying to figure out the wiring.
