My 2 Sandman and their 2 other mates, have been enjoying there retirement for the last 19 months. Stored away for the moment. Mainly I had alot of changes, redundant from work, rehired back to work (same company) and working away from home, building a bigger shed, shifting house and finally had carpal tunnel operation on both hands (one hand at a time). Will be starting a new job, when I get the all clear from the doctor, living at home again instead of working away from home town, shed nearly finish and take the old holden out on some local club runs. Also have been buying alot of parts, their will be alot of time spent in the shed.

I had that op done in 2001 and 2002 each hand, best thing I ever did....

Called into Adam's this arvo, who is doing our Ute now, all straightened, and a rust cut out, now decided since one inner guard was removed to fix up some outer guard rust, to take out other guard and paint it black as the engine bay was all painted mandarin red, which we don't like, have to wait to paint the fire wall, brake booster and master cylinder, back to black, and original silver colour when we take out the motor, but at least it is a start....

I moved mine and took the Simmons off and GTS wheels back. Put the Simmons back on Torana where they belong and will stay.

I am not sure what a lug nut is, but I can tell you they have a tapered edge up against the wheel. Hope that makes sense.

i have started one of my hz sandman windowless van resto over the past month. stripped down the shell and removed body and mounted on rotisserie. panel work and inside edges painted on front clip parts. undercarriage and chassis sandblasted. bumpers off to chromers, stainless dent removed and stripped for repaint. seats off to trimmers. shell strip back and etch prime. replaced rear lower 1/4 both sides. replaced rear beaver. replace inner and outer cowl sections. pressed up gutters and roof section and started to replace them. ordered all replacement parts, seals, lights etc. engine, gearbox and diff in the pipeline. was running 308,m21. fitting 355 and toploader probably 355 sals lsd. already licensed before taking off road. plate ordered and arrived (conceiver) looking to have painted and panel reassemble by the end of this month, then it will sit in the corner while i get my hq 2 dr resto started, hoping to get it finished by monaro nationals in september. or maybe see if i can pull some kind of magic and finish van for van nationals!!!!!
