Yesterday Finally Rodney and I felt like doing something in the sheds...we bought ourselves a 4 post hoist to fit two of our sandmans in one area, to leave more space for other projects. It did take all day to assemble, between reading the instructions to Rodney I cleaned off the blue steering column, in the ute, back to black, why someone would paint it bright blue is beyond me but now it is black again...we also did the stripes and blackouts last weekend, or rather the panel shop did them..

HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"
    Married to RodneyHZ253

Fitted up the wiper blades, now the washers have stopped working. Waiting for the console to arrive from the Gold Coast this week. Looking for the motivation to sort out the tail and brake lights, no power at this stage.

All the front end has been painted including doors, motor rebuilt and will bring home in the next week or two, body will hopefully be painted in next fortnight, just had front calipers rebuild and booster, all chrome sent off last month, dash sent off , shifter and linkages sent off for work, getting clock back from repairer tomorrow, reco bosh starter due this week and still chasing up last of my rubber kit from Harrisons (arent they painful to deal with on par with Eastern Auto) new pinchweld arrived, have to go back up to Cools Trim to collect drivers seat which I had to take back. Got rebuilt quadrajet from Hume Performance last week, picked up some bits and pieces from power coaters, new radiator, and just won a pair of front over riders NOS on ebay.

    Ha ha that's the one.

V6HQUTE and I spent Saturday putting in newer VZ Calais seats. Seats are in! And feel a lot better than the old Holden ones that felt like a primary school metal work class put them in.

Now the seats have all new stainless steel bolts in the original mounting holes. A lot safer than the old set up.

And them more importantly I leart how to cut hoops in the van ;)

Pictures to come when I can figure out how to do it on my mobile.
Black WB bodied HZ panelvan with a 400 chev called Frankie :nerviness:

What Agro said. Surely all the bolt holes didn't line up completely? Did you use the HZ rails or the VY ones.
