What have you done on,in or to your Sandman lately?

Thought this would be a good way for members to chat or mention what they have been doing with there Sandys lately without having to use a blog!
    Let's see how it goes!
Btw you don't need to have a Sandman to post here you can chat about whatever your project is!

So, in preparation for a bit of a tart up of SYN 81N, we recently purchased a pair of pretty clean front doors with factory electric windows, courtesy of my ol buddy Ozbox!
She currently has HQ doors and as she is a HX , thought an upgrade was required!

Sound's like a great upgrade Gaddy, power window's, excellent. Aside from the door trim, what are the differences between a HQ door and an HX? I have no knowledge of such thing's, I have never restored a vehicle.

    Cheers.

I have been busy stripping parts of my HZ to get it to the sandblaster early March, need to get windscreen out dash etc and then pull the driveline out. tagging and bagging as I go. If anybody on here looking for a blue 308 motor set up for dual fuel I may be selling the one I am about to pull out.

mine is busy not being driven in the prime part of the year... i just finished doing a van and not sure if i can be pg13ed getting right back into another atm.

might just put the carpet and console back in it and tear it up on the weekends for a bit.. try and enjoy it. though one of the last times i took it out the brand new 600 vac secondary choked up and started flooding like Queensland! All sorted now. just some crap in the fuel i think

Well mine is has been at the sandblaster for the last 3 weeks,he has not started blasting it due to the wet weather as he is only blasting ,and then it has to be tilt trayed to the panel shop, I got all exited when he picked it up. bloody rain, i hope to have it ready for the AHD in August, so at the moment i am just getting all the bits and pieces ready for when it returns painted and ready for the reasembly process, looking foward to that time.
