BOdy painted , motor and gearbox in, reco steering box purchased last week and new brakes all round fitted and bled, back at smash repairers for front end to be put back on and black outs around doors , clear coat then home.
Tonight I fitted Upper and Lower Tailgate rubber seals and genuine tailgate wire stays (Rare Spares).
Received new Ignition Barel, Door locks and Tailgate locks. Only to find out that the painter has misplaced the lock arms inside the doors. Small issue.
Rear Bumperettes sandblasted today for $20 , ready soon for re-chroming.
Carburettor (Holley 450 as I cant find a decent Rochester) has been completed but needs revisiting as first carby tech put the pump mechanism on backwards. Then told me I didn't know what I was talking about.
New carby tech picked up the obvious mistake , as did I , and is fixing issue for labour only.

hj van. now have the 454 block, just the gearbox to go,
was going to use a turbo 350, be told, turbo 400 is the better option with this engine.
