    Bugger replica Sandmans!

    You'd have to replace the puke trim and remove the rear bar, but a rust free HQ ute with a big block and A/C.....drool.

    Apart from the horrific seat coverings that is a nice ute....

    All you need to do is ditch that boat anchor engine and put a 253 in it ............

    Bonnet scoop is yukky too, but when you put a fatty in a HQ it isn't all that easy to fit it under the bonnet. Maybe a better scoop would fix it. Or just replace it with a 6/71 Blower.

    so a big block wont fit under the bonnet of a HQ ?

    Kinda related to the thread, but what other grills wouldn't have the stainless trims?
    The reason I ask is because one of the NOS HJ Grills that I have doesn't have the trims or the recessed clips to accept the stainless trim.. Very confusing.
