Thinking of Selling my Sandman

i wouldnt sell it . i had the same idea with my HQ coupe ....sell the van to finish the coupe that i have had for 20 years 17 of those off the road but realised even if i got 10 grand for the van it wouldnt make the coupe happen any faster and then when i did finish the HQ i would probably start looking for a van again

What sort of Torana are u doing up.. what do u have left to do to it..

that would look good, but there is no way my Sandman will get anywhere near a boat ramp!

Torana is an Aqua SLR5000, it goes in for painting straight after Easter. Plan is to get it back by Christmas. I really would like to fit a Tremec and nine inch diff, before registration, hence the thought of getting rid of the Sandman. So at this stage I will keep the M21 and Banjo. I gues with the Torana in another Shed I can do the rust repairs on the Sandman redo the engine and gearbox, paint and rebush etc the chasis.

Think about re purchasing another van with the current asking prices.... Ask yourself if you could find another for the same price. Your selling price won't really get your torry on the road and you'll be a car down....glad your holding onto it
