    Congrats,

our daughters BF has just been given a 2 year contract at Roxby from Jan next year, he is finishing Uni at Newy, and has done chemical engineering...not sure if she will go as well, her contract runs out in Jan at Toowoomba, so if there is a vacancy for a radiographer at Roxby she will likely go there too, make heaps of money and set themselves up...

Since writing this post all that went pear shaped long distance doesn't always work so she found out the hard way. Happy now with her own career at cobar a mining town in western nsw. She is a chief radiographer $58/hour plus call outs. Three years of uni certainly paid off for her. I realise this is totally

I've moved on from Olympic Dam, BHP put the brakes on the expansion project that many were on. I'm now on the Santos contract in the Cooper Basin and I love it.

Santos aye Blocker...... Do you have anything to do with the precast concrete boxes and lids that santos are using at all their sites? Hytec Concrete. (its a sister company of the engineering business I manage)

There is a lot of LNG work in Australia, find the location you want to work and research the contractors on that job, then hit them up with your resume. I'm the ops manager and have about 200 people on the ground so keeps me busy some what.

Biggest camp construction job I know of at the moment is the Itchy project in Darwin. If you register with cribhut.com.au you will get more info about work around Aust.

I know the ones but have nothing to do with them. btw concrete costs $1200 a cube up here... it's highway robbery!

$1200 a cube. Bet there are quite a few doing very nicely out of that along the way.
