Apparently in WA you only need your HC for 24 hours to be able to get your B Double or maybe Road Train. A mate of mine walked into side tipper work in Kalgoolie and pestered me for months about getting over there because there was plenty of work.
I've just landed work on the Wind Farm out of Ararat. Machine Operator on reasonable money and I can drive the sonata there and back daily for less than $20 a week, plus live in my own home. Pretty happy with that.
